How about the bad news first so that I can make you happy again with the good news?!
"That's Wild!" is going to beclosing probably by the end of the week. (I did that quickly like ripping off a bandaid!)
BUT (here comes the good news) you can find a lot of great posts from me on our new Wild 104 website! That includes Beauty Tip Tuesday!
ALSO, please, please, please follow my personal blog HeresTheKie.com. This site will be full of DIY projects, fitness, fashion, beauty and living frugal tips! It is also linked to my YouTube channel where you can see videos and tutorials with me using my favorite beauty products and demonstrations of the latest trends in fitness and fashion!
Now I know today is Beauty Tip Tuesday so I want to take a look back at some of my favorite BTT posts. Check these out:
Hey Beauties! I hope you all found my false lashes post helpful! Last time I taught you all an easier way to apply false lashes. This week is for those of us who just don't have the patience for false lashes but want a fuller, more voluminous look! Begin by curling your lashes. What I like to do is clamp my lashes with my eyelash curler and squeeze down 5 times. This always makes my lashes look sky high! Next, dust some loose powder over your lashes before applying mascara. This will adhere to your lashes making them look full and thick! Last, apply 2 coats of mascara. Starting at your lash line, lightly "wiggle" your wand toward the end of your lashes!
Hope you enjoyed this post! Leave your tips for fuller lashes in the comments below!
I hope you all enjoyed your weekend! I know I sure did. I enjoyed some quality family time and caught up with some of my friends from high school. It's always nice to get together and reminisce about the things we did when we were younger!
I think the one thing I learned this weekend is how important it is to make time for the important people in your life.
I just wanted to start this week off with some positivity and motivation. Take this quote below and live by it all week...and all your life if you dare to be so successful! lol You can't feel guilty about playing hard if you know you've worked hard to earn it! Have a great week!
I know I've told my story before but let me briefly explain what I've been tying to accomplish. I have been working out for the last year and a half or more trying to get fit! Notice I used the term "fit" and not "skinny". I'm not on a 12 week eating plan or one of those DVDs you do for a month. I'm definitely not knocking people who do these things because I have tried them myself. Especially the DVD's. There's nothing wrong with DVD's! The only thing that would be wrong is if you expected to keep the weight off after those 30 days or 90 days without putting in any effort...then you'll have a problem. The point I want to get across today is that becoming fit doesn't happen overnight. Everyone always asks me "Kiesha, what do you do in the gym?" "Kiesha, I wish I could do what you do.". I reply with my workout routine and tell them "You CAN do what I do". The truth is that they just don't want to put in the effort! Being fit and healthy is a whole lifestyle change! It's something you do for LIFE. My "trainer" knew that I wanted to lose 20lbs and wanted to feel comfortable with my body. He would say to me "You didn't put on that 20lbs overnight so don't expect to lose it overnight." How true is that?! Also, one of my absolute favorite quotes is "Don't be angry with the results you did not get from the work you did not do!". I hope this post helped some of you today! Remember to keep pushing yourself! TRUST ME, one day you will look in the mirror and be very happy with what you see and you'll wonder "Woah! When did this happen?!"
Hey everyone! Today I want to share something a little different with you! One of my hobbies is watching "beauty gurus" on YouTube. A beauty guru is someone who talks about their favorite products, gives reviews on products and also does tutorials for hair, nails, makeup, etc! I've watched so many videos and have finally decided to join in! Below is my first "Favorites" video. In this video I discuss my most used/favorite products for the month of July! If you like my videos feel free to subscribe so you don't miss any of my new uploads! Enjoy!
How many times have you dropped your compact and had it shatter into a million little pieces? I'm sure more times than we can count! A while back I was visiting one of my favorite beauty sites, The Beauty Department, and they had a post on how to save your compact when this happens! Today I want to share that post with you because I know just how annoying that can be!
I've always had a tough time applying false lashes. But I'm excited to share with you an easier way to apply them! I used to apply the lash adhesive to the falsies first and then place them on my lash line. This always got messy and I ended up sticking them in the wrong place. It just turned out to be an all around disaster! Here's an easier way to apply your falsies:
-Dab some adhesive on the back of your hand and let it sit for about 2 minutes until it is tacky.
-With an eyeliner brush, apply adhesive along your lash line. This will ensure that your falsies will stick only where you want them!
- Voila! You have perfectly placed lashes AND a much cleaner look!
I hope this tip has helped you as much as it has helped me! Be sure to share your results in the comment below!
Hey everyone! I'm sorry that I've been away for a couple of days but I've been super busy! Anywho, I wanted to start this week with a few inspiring words. I hope these words will inspire you to get up and take charge this week, work hard, and push yourself! Take a look....
Happy Beauty Tip Tuesday! I have a quick tip for you today. As you've seen in the past I liked to find other uses for my make up products. I always strive to get the most out of my money and that means not just using a product for what it says on the package! For example: lip liner as a full lip stain, concealer as nude lip color and blush as lip color. I'm going to flip that last example around for this week: Lip stick as a cheek stain!
Dab your favorite "cheeky" lip color on the apple of your cheeks and blend!

Happy Friday Eve! Time for another Top Three Thursday!
Here are 3 of my favorite things to do in my free time:
1. Reading Blogs/Watching Vlogs. I love watching YouTube Beauty Vlogs. I can honestly get lost in these videos for hours. I get a lot of my inspiration for nail designs and new beauty tips from these vlogs. I've even started doing some vlogs myself! I also love reading blogs on a variety of topics ranging from beauty, couponing, organizing and fashion.
2. Couponing/Bargain Hunting. As I mentioned above, I love reading blogs about couponing. There really is an art to all of this couponing madness! You'd be surprised how much money people waste by not shopping around for the best bargain!
3. Netflix. When I have some free time I love finding new shows to get addicted to on Netflix. I recently got into watching Greek and I love it! This was a show on ABC Family that has since gone off the air.
What are your favorite things to do in your free time?
Be sure to check in tomorrow! It's my 100th blog post!!!
I don't know about you but I am DRAGGING this week! I've been taking some new fitness classes and I just feel drained. A good laugh always gives me a boost of energy so I thought I'd share some funny videos with you. I love when Ellen Degeneres scares people. It's hilarious! Check it out...
I visited Tumblr this morning for some new Fitspiration! Tumblr has always motivated me in the past so when I needed a little boost that's where I went! You can check out my Tumblr page here and see the type of progress I've made in the last year and a half!
