Friday Fitspiration!
If you see me at the gym you will most likely find me in the weight traning area! I do a quick cardio warm up then I get right to the weights! I've toned up so much and have really been liking the results I'm seeing! I have shared this video on Facebook but I wanted to share it here in case anyone missed it. I modeled my workout after this on Monday with the weights dumbed down a bit. It's difficult as any good workout is, but I think the results will be well worth it! Check it out:

Book Series Recommendations?
I mentioned earlier this week that I was reading 50 Shades of Grey. Well, I have finished it and I'm on to book two! I had dinner with a friend last night and I was helping her think of other book series that she should read.We both agreed that we prefer series because if we finish one book and we want more...there's more! So, my question for all of you is...Besides the obvious Twilight, Hunger Games and 50 Shades of Grey series, what other series of books are you loving??

Beauty Tip Tuesday: DIY Sea Salt Spray
Ok, let's be real...I'd much rather actually be at the beach. BUT I don't think that will happen this summer so I'm gonna have to bring the beach to me...or to my hair. Here's an easy way to get beachy hair without stepping foot on the beach!
What you'll need to create your textured, beach waves:
-A clean spray bottle that holds at least 8 fl. oz. to 10 fl. oz.
-8 fl. oz. of water.
-Sea salt. Use 1 tsp for each 8 fl oz of water.
-Coconut scented conditioner for the "beachy" scent but it also helps counteract the drying that the salt will do. I used 1/2 a tsp - feel free to use more if your hair tends to be a bit more dry.
-Just a dab of hair gel.
Mix all of your "ingredients" together and you're done!

Friday Fitspiration: How bad do you want it?!
I want to share a very special quote with you today from ET the Hip Hop Preacher...
I'm not going to say too much about this because I think it is very self explanatory. What I will say is... while getting frustrated with your fitness goals you should keep this in mind. If you are just going through the motions and not giving it all you've got...maybe you don't want it all that bad. But if you want to succeed as bad as you want to breathe, you will put 110% into EVERYTHING you do!

Top 3 Thursday: Summer Makeup Favorites!
Happy Friday Eve! It's another Top 3 Thursday so I want to share with you 3 of my favorite products that I'm loving for the summer!
I'm in love with this product! It's such a pretty, pearly, pink color! I use this on my cheek bones and brow bone for a highlighter. I think the nail polish looking packaging is so cute. This product is perfect for the summer because it's light weight and gives you a healthy looking summer glow!
This is another light weight product which is perfect for the summer heat! I love this product because it doesn't make you look "cakey" and no one wants that in the summer or any other season! Be warned though that this does not give as much coverage as a regular foundation because this is a beauty balm. It has a bit of shimmer to it and I'm all about healthy glowing skin this summer so this beauty balm works great!
This is my go-to eye pallette! It has a lot of neutral shades which I love. You can create both natural and dramatic looks with this pallette. It's perfect for transitioning from a day to night look!

Justin Bieber, Believe: Album Review!
He has plenty of lovey dovey songs and one song in particular which is NOT so lovey dovey. Im referring to his song "Maria" which is a direct shot at Mariah Yeater, the woman who falsely accused him of fathering her child. He calls this song his "Billie Jean". Although I wish he didn't give Yeater this kind of attention since she does not deserve the spotlight, I admire his courage to release a song that is much more controversial than anything he's done in the past.
But like I said, I really love this album. I have it on repeat all day! What are my favorite tracks you ask?

Beauty Tip Tuesday: Louboutin Inspired Nails!
Hey Hey!! I'm super excited about this nail design. You can do this look with any colors that you'd like but I was excited to make my nails looks like little Louboutin shoes!
This is very easy to do but it's a bit messy! Turn your hand over and paint the insides of your nails red first. Do not layer on too heavily or you will end up with little messy puddles under your nails! Next, paint the tops of your nails as you usually would with the black polish and finish with a clear top coat.
You can clean any mistakes under your nails by dipping a q-tip in polish remover. I also found it helpful to peel the excess polish off while running my hands under warm water once my nails were dry.

Mid-week Motivation: Waking up early!
Last week I discussed why be an early bird might not be so bad! This week I promised to share some tips on waking up early.
1. Just say "no" to the snooze button! The snooze button is not your friend! Put your phone or your alarm across the room. This way you have to get up to hit that little button. Besides, if you're already up then why not stay up?!
2. Open the curtains! A pitch black room makes it much too easy to stay asleep. Let the sun in and get a bright start to your day!
3. Wake up at the same time everyday but go to bed when your tired. Just listen to your body.
4. Have a purpose in the morning. For example, don't shower at night. Instead, shower in the morning. This way you know there is something that you HAVE to do. If you know you can roll out of bed and head to work or school then that's exactly what you will do...at the very last minute.
These are just a few things that I have been trying. What are your tricks for waking up early?

Beauty Tip Tuesday: DIY Lip Color
Happy Tuesday! It's my favorite time of the week, Beauty Tip Tuesday! If you're anything like me, you probably have some lipsticks that you don't use anymore. Don't let them go to waste! Today I will show you how to make your own lip color. Let's get started...
You will need:

- Metal Spoon
- Small Jar (empty lip balm container works well)
- Lipstick (multiple shades)
- Tooth pic
- Stove/candle
Directions:
- Cut a small amount off of the tip of your lipsticks and place in spoon
- VERY carefully begin heating the spoon over the stove or candle
- You may want to wear an ovenmit in case the spoon handle gets too hot
- Once the colors have melted, bring away from heat and mix with toothpick
- Do the previous step quite quickly before lip color hardens.
- Poor your new lip color into your jar
- Enjoy!

Last night I went to WWE SmackDown World Tour at the arena. It was such a great show! I never thought that I would be entertained by wrestling but I was! Here are some photos from the show!

Friday Fitspiration: Keep Going!
My cousin texted me the other day and told me she was losing her motivation to work out. She has come so far and has made GREAT progress! I'm so proud of what she has accomplished. I told her I've been there and have felt unmotivated too. So, when we feel like quitting we need to remember all the reasons why we started and how far we have come!

Mid-week Motivation: Be an Early Bird!
I remember the days when I used to be a morning person. I would brag that I wake up as soon as my alarm goes off and never hit the snooze button. Let's just say that those days are long gone and my snooze button gets hit at least 3 times...on a good day. I hate not having time to really get ready and spend time on my appearance. I also hate that I can't enjoy a decent breakfast before I start my day. Being an early bird may seem painful but there are really so many benefits! Let's take a look at some of the benefits of being an early bird:
1. You'll have time to be more productive. Get things done such as blogging, responding to emails, reading and minor cleaning.
2. Exercise. I love getting my workout out of the way in the morning. Even if you do end up exercising after work, a walk around the neighborhood or a 20 minute Zumba DVD would be a great extra workout AND it'll get your blood flowing!
3. If you're a parent, enjoy some quiet time!
4. Eat a good breakfast! After all, it is the most important meal of the day! I have this dream of sitting at the table eating breakfast, sipping coffee or tea, and reading before work. This has never happened, ever.
5. Get to work early! You'll be surprised how much you can accomplish before your co-workers come in!
