So I have some good news and some bad news...

"That's Wild!" is going to be closing probably by the end of the week. (I did that quickly like ripping off a bandaid!)

Beauty Tip Tuesday: Revive your Compact!
How many times have you dropped your compact and had it shatter into a million little pieces? I'm sure more times than we can count! A while back I was visiting one of my favorite beauty sites, The Beauty Department, and they had a post on how to save your compact when this happens! Today I want to share that post with you because I know just how annoying that can be!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: Applying False Lashes
I've always had a tough time applying false lashes. But I'm excited to share with you an easier way to apply them! I used to apply the lash adhesive to the falsies first and then place them on my lash line. This always got messy and I ended up sticking them in the wrong place. It just turned out to be an all around disaster! Here's an easier way to apply your falsies:
-Dab some adhesive on the back of your hand and let it sit for about 2 minutes until it is tacky.
-With an eyeliner brush, apply adhesive along your lash line. This will ensure that your falsies will stick only where you want them!
- Voila! You have perfectly placed lashes AND a much cleaner look!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: Cheek Stain
Happy Beauty Tip Tuesday! I have a quick tip for you today. As you've seen in the past I liked to find other uses for my make up products. I always strive to get the most out of my money and that means not just using a product for what it says on the package! For example: lip liner as a full lip stain, concealer as nude lip color and blush as lip color. I'm going to flip that last example around for this week: Lip stick as a cheek stain!
Dab your favorite "cheeky" lip color on the apple of your cheeks and blend!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: Long Lasting Lip Color!
Hey beauties! Now you all know by now that I'm a beauty fanatic. One thing I don't wear much is lip color. It just always feels like the color never lasts. So, today I want to share some tips on how to get long lasting lip color!
Tip #1
Instead of using lip liner to only line your lips, fill in your entire lip with the liner!
Liners are cheaper than lip stains and last longer than lip sticks!
Tip #2
- Apply lip liner or lip stick
- Blot with a tissue
- Apply a loose or pressed translucent powder using an eyeshadow brush and cover entire lip area
- Apply second coat of lip liner or lip stick
Repeat these 4 steps once more and your color should last all night!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: DIY Glitter Nail Polish
What You Will Need:
Clear Nail Polish
Loose Glitter (color of your choice!)
Small Piece of Paper
Directions:
*I highly recommend doing this over newspaper...it can get very messy!...trust me!*
1. Take the top off of polish and set to the side
2. Make a funnel with the piece of paper
3. Aim funnel into the polish bottle
4. SLOWLY pour glitter into bottle
-Do this in small increments
-You will put the polish top back on and shake and then add more glitter
5. Continue this process until you reach your desired shade!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: DIY Sea Salt Spray
Ok, let's be real...I'd much rather actually be at the beach. BUT I don't think that will happen this summer so I'm gonna have to bring the beach to me...or to my hair. Here's an easy way to get beachy hair without stepping foot on the beach!
What you'll need to create your textured, beach waves:
-A clean spray bottle that holds at least 8 fl. oz. to 10 fl. oz.
-8 fl. oz. of water.
-Sea salt. Use 1 tsp for each 8 fl oz of water.
-Coconut scented conditioner for the "beachy" scent but it also helps counteract the drying that the salt will do. I used 1/2 a tsp - feel free to use more if your hair tends to be a bit more dry.
-Just a dab of hair gel.
Mix all of your "ingredients" together and you're done!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: Louboutin Inspired Nails!
Hey Hey!! I'm super excited about this nail design. You can do this look with any colors that you'd like but I was excited to make my nails looks like little Louboutin shoes!
This is very easy to do but it's a bit messy! Turn your hand over and paint the insides of your nails red first. Do not layer on too heavily or you will end up with little messy puddles under your nails! Next, paint the tops of your nails as you usually would with the black polish and finish with a clear top coat.
You can clean any mistakes under your nails by dipping a q-tip in polish remover. I also found it helpful to peel the excess polish off while running my hands under warm water once my nails were dry.

Beauty Tip Tuesday: DIY Lip Color
Happy Tuesday! It's my favorite time of the week, Beauty Tip Tuesday! If you're anything like me, you probably have some lipsticks that you don't use anymore. Don't let them go to waste! Today I will show you how to make your own lip color. Let's get started...
You will need:

- Metal Spoon
- Small Jar (empty lip balm container works well)
- Lipstick (multiple shades)
- Tooth pic
- Stove/candle
Directions:
- Cut a small amount off of the tip of your lipsticks and place in spoon
- VERY carefully begin heating the spoon over the stove or candle
- You may want to wear an ovenmit in case the spoon handle gets too hot
- Once the colors have melted, bring away from heat and mix with toothpick
- Do the previous step quite quickly before lip color hardens.
- Poor your new lip color into your jar
- Enjoy!
I chose 2 colors that I never wear because one of them is very dark and matte. This color would go onto my lips very roughly. The other is a little too light but has a nice smooth, shimmery finish. Once I mixed them together I got the perfect, creamy shade with a nice hint of shimmer!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: Shiny Hair from the Kitchen?!
Ok, this is going to sound very strange and you might say "Kiesha, are you nuts?!" but this works! If your hair is a little on the dry side and you're looking to add some shine, go to your kitchen and grab some...olive oil...
- Add a dime size amount of olive oil to your styling cream.
- This works best on wet hair.
- Scrunch and work cream into hair.
- When your hair is dry it will have a nice healthy shine!
Don't worry about smelling like food. The scent of your styling cream will overpower the olive oil!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: DIY Caviar Nails!
Caviar nails is a very interesting nail trend. I couldn't resist trying it! I think that the Caviar Nail Kits are way overpriced so I decided to do something on my own. This should cost you about $10 as opposed to $25! Plus, you get a lot more beads the DIY way!What you need:
- Microbeads. You can find these in the scrapbooking aisle at the craft store.
- Nail Polish
- Small Container- I used the cap from my hairspray
Directions for doing the caviar effect on your accent finger (ring finger):
{Begin by pouring some of your beads into your container}
- You will be painting your ring finger before all other fingers. This way, you can correct any mistakes with your other fingers without messing up your polish.
- Paint the first coat of polish and wait about 2 minutes.
- Paint the second coat of polish.
- While you nail is still wet, dip your finger in the container full of beads. Make sure you coat your nail completely.
- Pull your finger out but keep the nail over the container to keep your mess at a minimum!
- Gently push beads down to lock beads in place.
- Gently remove any stray beads.

Beauty Tip Tuesday: DIY Beauty Balm
Summer is quickly approaching and who doesn't want glowing skin?! Beauty balms are becoming quite popular but they tend to be on the pricey side. I decided to mix my bronzing power with some moisturizer to achieve dewey, glowing skin for much cheaper!
What you need:
- Bronzer with a little shimmer (powder works best)
- Moisturizer
- Small Container
Directions:
- Put moisturizer in a small container (I bought one from the travel section so it was already packaged in a small container)
- Slowly start adding bronzer to the moisturizer and mix as you go. The intensity of the color is up to you.
- Keep adding bronzer and mixing until you reach your desired shade!
- You can apply this on your body for a dewey glow and it also looks nice on you cheekbones as a highlighter!

Beauty Tip Tuesday: Slanted Tip Nails
This nail design is quick and easy. The best part is that you don't have to worry about imperfections because its easy to cover up your mistakes with a little glitter!
What you need:
- Polish of your choice
- Scotch Tape
- Glitter Polish
- Top coat
Directions:
- Tape your nails leaving a small slanted space at your tips
- Polish the area above scotch tape
- Let polish dry for at least 2 minutes
- Slowly peel off tape
- Didn't get a clean line of polish? That's ok! Paint a line of glitter and cover up you're mistakes!
- Finish with a top coat
